Money can be collected from any one of our 400+ Western Union retail locations throughout Ireland.

Step 1

find an agent

Find your nearest Western Union Agent using our Agent Locator (click here)

Step 2

complete the form

Visit your nearest Western Union retail location and complete a "To receive money" form providing the following information:

  • Your full name and permanent address in Ireland
  • The full name of the Sender
  • Originating country/city of the transaction
  • The approximate amount
  • The correct Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN)*

Step 3

identify yourself

Give the agent the completed form and an identification document**

Step 4

local currency supplied
